Making an illuminated journal will be the focus of this class, there are no art skills needed; the only thing required is courage and a willingness to see what emerges from within you and onto the page. The combination of the written word and creative embellishment allows us to create a one of a kind deeply personal keep sake that is a map of our  spiritual unfolding.

My experience over the course of the last 2 decades making art has shown me that the creative process is a means for direct access to the mysterious force of creation itself. If we trust the process and follow it’s movement something valuable will emerge from the unknown. It reveals an authentic voice that is fresh and uncorrupted by the ego. In this way art is birthed through us and is a reflection of both our personal process and the collective unfolding of humanity

Sacred Journey Women's Retreat with Jewel Lauer and Ann Patricio

Join us as we explore sacred relationship within ourselves, with the Divine, with nature and with a community of women.  Through expressive movement, ritual, prayer, writing, spiritual dialogue, communing with nature, meditation and creative play we discover new ways to connect with the sacred as well as deepen and revitalize familiar spiritual practices.
