Testimonials
"Open, supportive and available, Jewel is an incredible
healing force!
She affirms that often in life we are exactly where we need to be
and supports deeper listening to uncover the deeper messages the
universe is whispering within our souls. She is a compassionate,
patient and empowering mentor. Jewel radiates stability, love and
grace.

"My experience of Jewel's capabilities as a mentor reveals
that she
has a gift for compassionately opening spaces of safety
that
provide a ground to explore beyond normal awareness and
experience
the freedom and potentials of our consciousness.
In
addition, to promoting access to expanded awareness, she
has the
capability to venture through that expanded window of
consciousness to connect and share her perceptions, thereby,
introducing alternative versions of consciousness to the
experiencer."

“my Hospice bereavement volunteer, Jewel Lauer was an unbelievable
asset to my healing process. Jewel accepted me as I was and
walked with me on my healing journey. Hospice is lucky to have
her. Thank
you so much”

"Jewel
Lauer has been leading the “Just Sit Meditation” gatherings
are our church since May 2008. Her gentle, loving leadership
has fostered the development a welcoming and embracing community
of people each Monday evening at 5:15 pm. Persons representing a
variety of contemplative traditions feel welcome to “just sit” together
40 minutes followed by a short time for discussion. Jewel
often brings spiritual readings relevant to the contemplative journey
and fosters conversation and answers questions after meditation time
in an empowering and non-judgmental way. “Just Sit Meditation” has
been a welcome addition to the spiritual programs of our community."

"Jewel's Just Sit Meditation gathering is an invitation to relax: your
mind, your body, and your expectations about how meditation is supposed to
be done. I
have meditated for nearly 35 years in several different disciplines and all of
them require some technique. So, when I first encountered the Just Sit
meditation, with no method, my first reaction was to say ' What do you
mean there's no method? This is madness! How will you know if you are doing
it right?' Of course, that is the point. As the saying goes: 'the
proof of the pudding is in the eating.' The end result is what matters,
and participants always seem to receive the calm, quiet space they need."
