Life Transitions Coaching
Life transitions are thresholds — moments when something in us knows we cannot remain who we were. Whether change arrives gently or with force, these periods often become some of the most fertile seasons of growth we will ever experience.
Having lived through many of these cycles myself, I’ve learned that navigating change asks two things of us: courage to step into the unknown and trust in our inner knowing to guide the way.
In our work together, we explore what life is asking you to release, what new expression is trying to emerge, and how to move through this transition with clarity, purpose, and alignment with your deepest values.
Death and Dying, Grief and Bereavement Care & Spiritual Support
In Western culture, death is often avoided — yet it is one of the most universal and transformative human experiences we encounter. We will all face death and loss. But how can we honor these experiences if we never create space to speak about them?
Through my work as a Hospice volunteer, bereavement group facilitator, and through the intimate loss of loved ones, I’ve come to see this as one of the most sacred, potent and meaningful life experiences.
I walk this tender terrain with clients, offering presence, compassion, and steadiness. Together, we make room for grief, meaning-making, healing, and the quiet spiritual wisdom that often emerges when we move gently toward — rather than away from — the truth of our loss.
Psilocybin Assisted Therapy Facilitation and Integration
As a trained and licensed Psilocybin Assisted Therapy Facilitator my role encompasses -
Preparation
Preparation is the foundation for profound, safe, and meaningful transformation.
During this phase, I help you prepare mentally, emotionally, and spiritually for entering an expanded state of consciousness. Together, we explore what brings you to Psilocybin Therapy at this point in your life - the reasons and the longing for change and healing. From there I help you clarify your intention and we create a supportive framework that helps you feel aligned, grounded and trusting when you step into your journey.
Administration Day
On the day of your session, I create and maintain a safe, sacred, and deeply held container for your inner work. As you enter the journey, I hold space for you — grounded, compassionate, and attuned.
Whatever arises, I am there with you:
• witnessing without judgment
• encouraging you to trust what unfolds
• gently guiding you back to your inner knowing
This is your time for healing, insight, and spiritual exploration, and my role is to ensure that you feel safe and held throughout the entire experience.
Integration
After the journey comes integration — the phase where true transformation takes root. During this period, your brain enters a heightened state of neuroplasticity: insights are vivid, possibilities expand, and old patterns begin to soften.
This is a powerful window, and you do not walk through it alone.
I support you in translating your realizations into practical, aligned, meaningful change in your daily life. Together we explore what your journey revealed, what wants expression now, and the steps that will anchor these shifts with clarity, coherence, and purpose.
Integration is where insight becomes embodiment — and where the healing continues to unfold.
About Jewel Lauer
Jewel Lauer — Licensed Psilocybin-Assisted Therapy Facilitator, Life and Spiritual Coaching
Nearly forty years ago, I moved to Boulder to attend a graduate program in Transpersonal Psychology—a field that explores the intersection between human and spiritual experience. During my studies, I was introduced to the work of Carl Jung, which profoundly expanded my understanding of consciousness. My exploration of expanded and altered states of consciousness has continued ever since, through intensive training in shamanism with Sandra Ingerman, Stanislav Grof’s Holotropic Breathwork, meditation practices, and the intentional use of psilocybin and other plant medicines.
Feeling called to deepen my spiritual studies I attended an Interfaith Seminary. There, I quickly discovered that while religion often felt static or confined, spirituality as a lived, embodied experience was what felt most alive for me. I became increasingly drawn to Buddhist practice, completing a two-year mentorship with scholar Peter Fenner, with the focus on guiding individuals and groups in mindfulness-based inquiry. During this time, I also immersed myself in meditation retreats with spiritual teacher Adyashanti, where my own meditation practice quietly deepened.
My introduction to Elisabeth Kübler-Ross’s work on death and dying stirred a calling to train with Hospice, and I went on to serve as a bereavement group leader and end-of-life volunteer for eight years. My initiation into death, loss, and grief deepened further as I faced sudden losses within my family and accompanied loved ones and friends through their final transitions. These experiences have profoundly shaped my understanding of the sacredness of living and dying.
Over several decades of working with clients, my private practice has organically evolved into an integrative life and spiritual coaching model—one that weaves together the depth and wisdom of all the paths that have shaped me, both personally and professionally. As a certified life and spiritual coach and a licensed psilocybin-assisted therapy facilitator in two states, holding space for the mystery of my clients’ inner healing and spiritual exploration feels like the truest expression of my calling. My work is rooted in presence, deep listening, compassion, and a trust in the innate intelligence of the human spirit, mind, and body.
I regard this work as sacred, and I am continually humbled by the courage it takes to meet the unknown in psilocybin-assisted therapy. Whatever brought you here, I offer a steady, grounded presence and a dedicated heart in support of the unfolding of your journey.

Jewel was a profound source of comfort during my beloved’s final journey with Stage 4 liver cancer. Through the grueling side effects of chemotherapy, her hands-on energy healing eased the debilitating nausea and exhaustion. When my wife took her last breath, Jewel was there—not only for her but for all of us. She held me and my family through the rawness of loss with grace and deep kindness. More than a caregiver, Jewel is an angel, and I will always be grateful for her presence during my wife’s transition.
